Hit-and-run on Bhubaneswar overbridge kills youth

Bhubaneswar: One dead, one injured in Bhubaneswar hit-and-run.

The incident occurred on C.R.P. Chowk overbridge of Bhubaneswar Sunday morning where one youth succumbed to injuries while another was rushed to the hospital following a hit-and-run.

Deceased Soumya Ranjan Mana, a resident of West Bengal has been identified while the injured is Jyoti Ranjan Sahu of Jagatsinghpur district.

As per sources, the two were moving on a bike when a vehicle in high speed reportedly hit them and fled from the spot.

The passersby alerted the Police and the police immediately arrived at the scene.

Following this, Nayapalli Police along with 108 ambulance reached the site and rushed the two to Capital Hospital, where the former was declared dead by the doctor.
