IMD issues yellow waning for 13 district of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued yellow awnings for thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain over a total of 13 district of Odisha.

As predicted by the weatherman, thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain with wind speed reaching 40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Angul, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Sundergad, Deogad, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Balangir within next three hours.

Likewise, other three other districts Raygada, Bargad, and Ganjam also have been issued similar warnings for the next three hours.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions, the IMD said.
