Odisha CM declares Odia film ‘Aafaa’ tax-free

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has made the Odia movie Aafaa tax-free in the State. The Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi gave his approval for the proposal on Wednesday.

The film Aafaa has been directed by Pritiraj Satpathy and produced by Naina Das Tiwari.

The subject matter of the film is related to organ donation which tries to spread a feeling of humanity in a creative manner among the young generation.

A 16-year-old girl undergoing a grave illness opts for organ donation against all odds in her life.

The Government of Odisha said it is high time for a society with a message.

The film with an underlying positive message to the society is anticipated to inspire individuals for contributing towards the society, particularly for promoting the significance of organ donation among its young population.
