CBSE Class XII Result 2026 Likely to Be Declared Today After Noon

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class XII Board Examination Result 2026 on Tuesday after 12 noon.

According to reports, the Class XII examinations for the 2026 academic session were conducted between February 17 and April 10 across the country. This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking system for digital evaluation of answer sheets to minimise manual errors and speed up the result preparation process.

Once declared, students can check their results on the official websites. Apart from the official portals, the results will also be available through DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS services to help students access their scores during heavy online traffic.

Students will be able to download their provisional digital marksheets from DigiLocker shortly after the announcement of results. To access the marksheets, candidates need to log in using their Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile number credentials. After signing in, they must visit the Education section, select the Central Board of Secondary Education option, and click on “Class XII Marksheet.”

The board will distribute original marksheets and passing certificates later through respective schools.

CBSE is also expected to begin post-result services soon after the declaration of results. These services will include verification of marks, re-evaluation, obtaining photocopies of answer sheets, and compartment examination applications.
