Over 1.23 Lakh Women Receive Pending Subhadra Yojana Funds After Verification

Bhubaneswar: In a significant relief for beneficiaries, as many as 1,23,849 women who were earlier deprived of the third installment under the Subhadra Yojana have now received their financial assistance.
According to official sources, more than Rs 61 crore has been directly credited to the bank accounts of these beneficiaries. The payments, which were initially released on March 8 on the occasion of International Women’s Day, had not reached several eligible women due to technical glitches and verification-related issues.

Following a fresh round of verification, the pending amounts have now been successfully disbursed to the eligible recipients.
Government sources further informed that field verification of nearly one lakh additional pending applications is currently underway. Meanwhile, the scheme continues to see strong interest, with over 3.26 lakh new applications already received so far.
Further updates are expected as the verification process progresses.
