ADCA T20I Asia Cup 2026 to Be Held at Barabati Stadium from February 19

New Delhi: The ADCA T20I Asia Cup 2026 will be held from February 19 to 25, 2026, at the iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. The tournament is being organised by the Asian Deaf Cricket Association (ADCA) in collaboration with the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA), with support from the Odisha Deaf Cricket Association (ODCA).
The championship will feature three participating nations — India, Sri Lanka and Nepal — bringing together experienced deaf cricketers from across Asia.

Ahead of the tournament, teams underwent preparatory practice sessions from February 14 to 16 at the KIIT Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar to ensure strong readiness for the competition.
The opening ceremony will commence at 10:00 AM on February 19, setting the stage for a week of competitive international cricket and a celebration of inclusion in sport.
India will be led by Virender Singh, while Sri Lanka will be captained by A. Kalep and Nepal by Baidhanath Chaudhary.
Sumit Jain, President of ADCA, said the championship marks a significant milestone in the association’s journey to promote diversity and world-class deaf cricket. He thanked partners and stakeholders for supporting the ‘Dare to Dream’ movement aimed at mainstreaming deaf cricket talent across Asia. He also expressed gratitude to OCA and ODCA for their support in hosting the maiden tournament.
Roma Balwani, CEO of IDCA and Director of ADCA, said playing in Cuttack, one of India’s most iconic cricket venues, is inspiring for the athletes. She reiterated IDCA’s commitment to enabling inclusion through disability sport, particularly cricket, and appreciated the support of partners, state associations and well-wishers.
She added that IDCA played a pivotal role in facilitating arrangements for the championship, with visiting teams expressing gratitude for the hospitality extended during their stay in Cuttack. She also thanked IDCA Vice President and General Secretary Sagarkanta Senapati and ODCA CEO Ms. Sharmila Subramanian for their efforts in making the tournament memorable for teams from Sri Lanka and Nepal.
