Body of youth recovered from road side, Murder suspected

Cuttack: The dead body of a youth was recovered from the road side in Khan Nagar area of Cuttack district on Sunday. The man is suspected to have been murdered.

According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Papu Das, a fish businessman of Purighat area. The youth was reportedly beaten to death with a stone.

The locals spotted the body of the youth in the early morning and informed the police. On receiving infromation about the incident, the Badambadi police reached the spot and seized the body.

The police along with a scientific team is investigating the case. The reason behind the murdered is being investigated.
