OCA Announces Online Ticket Sales for India–South Africa T20 from Tomorrow

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has announced that online ticket sales for the upcoming India vs South Africa T20 International match will begin tomorrow. The high-voltage clash is scheduled to take place at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9.

OCA officials said that a total of 12,000 tickets will be released for public sale, of which 2,000 will be available online and 10,000 will be sold through physical counters. Offline ticket sales will commence on December 5 at six designated counters around the stadium.

Ticket prices have been fixed based on gallery categories. Gallery 1 and 3 tickets will cost ₹1,100, while Gallery 2 and 4 tickets are priced at ₹900. Gallery 5 tickets are priced at ₹1,200 and Gallery 7 at ₹700. Seats in the Special Enclosure and AC Box will cost ₹6,000 and ₹8,000, respectively. Tickets for the New Pavilion and Corporate Box have been priced at ₹10,000 and ₹20,000.

Online tickets can be purchased through the District by Zomato app. Fans who book online will be required to collect their physical ticket copies from the Cambridge School campus on December 8 and 9. The OCA has also scheduled ticket distribution for its affiliated organisations on December 3 and 4.

OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera said arrangements have been made for 42,000 tickets this year, which is 2,500 fewer than last year. The reduction, he explained, is due to an increase in the seating gap—from 19 inches to 22 inches—to enhance spectator comfort.

Behera added that discussions have been held with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on plans to increase Barabati Stadium’s seating capacity to 60,000. The OCA has submitted a proposal for the stadium’s renovation to support this expansion.
