CM Majhi to Hand Over 1,686 Appointment Letters Today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will distribute appointment letters to 1,686 candidates on Monday, marking a major recruitment drive across seven key government departments.

According to reports, the appointments will be issued in the Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment, Finance, Water Resources, Law, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Health and Family Welfare, and Skill Development and Technical Education departments.

The department-wise distribution includes: 34 candidates in Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment, 61 in Finance, 413 in Water Resources, 37 in Law, 23 in Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, 982 in Health and Family Welfare, and 136 in Skill Development and Technical Education.

In addition, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stones for 27 new projects, expected to generate over 51,826 jobs and attract investments exceeding ₹25,380 crore, boosting the state’s infrastructure and economy.

CM Majhi, along with the Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education, will also attend a special programme at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) as part of the day’s events.
