17 More Corona Patients Die in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A 102-year-old woman among 17 more persons succumbed to the Coronavirus in Odisha, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The deceased woman belongs to Bhubaneswar. The State registered 17 more fatalities due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, of which five were females including a 12-year girl. They succumbed to the deadly virus while undergoing treatment at different COVID hospitals.

With 17 new deaths, the toll due to the COVID-19 rose to 1,527 in Odisha. As per H&FW data, the fresh deaths were reported from 7 districts. While the virus claimed 4 each in Khordha and Sundargarh districts in a single day, 3 more died in Bargarh and Sambalpur districts. One each succumbed to the virus in Boudh, Dhenkanal and Kalahandi districts.
