Venu Gopal Assumes Charge as PPA Deputy Chairperson

Bhubaneswar: T. Venu Gopal, former Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority, has officially assumed charge as the Deputy Chairperson of Paradip Port Authority (PPA).

Venu Gopal began his career at Visakhapatnam Port in 1995 and has since served in several key roles across multiple departments. He has also held the position of Secretary at both Deendayal Port and Visakhapatnam Port, gaining extensive administrative and operational experience.

Throughout his career, he has been recognised for leading significant initiatives, including the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) and the Swachh Bharat campaign. He has also been an active contributor to several national-level committees.

Announcing his appointment on X, the Paradip Port Authority welcomed Venu Gopal and highlighted his “steady guidance and commitment,” noting that his work with IPA and Ministry-level committees reflects his strong expertise and leadership.
