Teacher beats up four students for sneaking out to watch Rath Yatra in Mayurbhanj

Udla: Four students were allegedly beaten up by their teacher for going to see the Rath Yatra without informing her. One of the student have reportedly been admitted at the hospital. The students have filed a complaint against the female teacher in teh police station. The incident took place in Udala Gurukula Vidya Mandir in Mayurbhanj district.

According to sources, the four students, who are living in the hostel, reportedly snuck out to watch the Rath yatra without informing anyone. So, upn their return, the teacher gave them a severe beating in anger.

In this incident, one student has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Other students have also been treated. The guardians and the local people have showed their dissatisfaction over the teachers action of beatings student severely in the name of educating them.

However, no response has been received from the school authorities regarding this incident so far.
