Subhadra Yojana Funds to Reach Beneficiaries by Jan 18

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Tuesday announced that financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts by January 18.
In this phase, a total of 4,57,681 women beneficiaries will receive financial support, with around Rs 250 crore set to be transferred directly to their accounts. The beneficiaries include 1,78,398 new recipients who will receive the first instalment of the scheme.

Additionally, 2,55,265 women who were previously excluded from earlier instalments will now receive both pending instalments together. A further 24,018 women have been added to the beneficiary list following the completion of the grievance redressal process.
“Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries will receive the money by January 18. Around 4.57 lakh beneficiaries will be covered in this phase,” Parida said, adding that while pending instalments will be cleared at once, new beneficiaries will receive a single instalment.
The Subhadra Yojana aims to provide financial support to eligible women across the state, strengthening economic security and social welfare.
