Smart City Sees 46 New Corona Positives

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Bhubaneswar reported 46 new cases of Coronavirus, the highest single-day jump. Of new cases, 24 positive cases are local contacts and 22 have been detected from quarantine centres, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation today.

With this, the Corona tally in Bhubaneswar rose to 525 with 222 active cases. Meanwhile, 18 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the deadly virus yesterday, BMC said.

Following fresh recoveries, the number of cured cases in the city now stands at 295. Today, one COVID-19 death case was reported from Bhubaneswar taking total count of deceased to 7.
