RP Singh opens up about managing Siraj’s workload, says he needs care like Bumrah

Former India pacer RP Singh recently spoke about the need of managing Mohammad Siraj’s workload following his impressive performance in the test series again England.
Mohammed Siraj bowled over 185 overs featuring in the five tests in the Andreson-Tendulkar Trophy and finished at the series’ highest wicket-taker with 23 wickets.
In a recent press interview, RP Singh pointed out that fast bowlers are more prone to injuries if they aren’t given proper rest. Further, he explained that India has managed Bumrah’s workload over the year and should do the same for Siraj as they both are in the same league.
He also spoke about the strong bowling partnership between Bumrah and Siraj, highlighted that Siraj automatically takes up the charge in Bumrah’s absence.
Singh also praised Shubman Gill’s captaincy and expressed sympathy for players like Kuldeep Yadav and Arshdeep Singh, who didn’t get opportunities due to team’s focus on all-rounder.
