Rasulgarh Murder Case: 5 Still Absconding
Bhubaneswar: In the bone-chilling murder case of Sahadev Nayak, who was murdered on Rasulgarh flyover on Wednesday morning, so far 5 people have been arrested including the main accused. However, the mastermind of the planned crime is yet to be nabbed though Police are making their best effort.
As per reports, efforts are on to arrest the mastermind in the brutal murder case of the youth on the Bhubaneswar Rasulgarh flyover. As many as 3 special teams of the police have been formed to nab the mastermind, identified as Sushant Nayak and others.
The plan to kill Sahadeva in connection with drug trafficking was being planned for a long time. The murder plan was carried out in Dumuduma on Tuesday night. All the accused gathered at Sushant Nayak’s house. It was decided to take the decision on the spot.
Last Wednesday, while Sahadeva was returning home after dropping his daughter at school, the miscreants attacked him with swords on the broad daylight on the Rasulgarh overbridge and fled from the scene.
Within 12 hours of the miscreants escaping on a bike, the three accused were arrested from Nayagarh Sharankul by the Commissionerate Police’s Squad and Mancheswar Thana Police.
Yesterday, the crime scene was recreated with the three accused at the Dayanadi near Lingipur. There, they stuffed two knives and other items used in the murder in a sack and threw into the Daya river. The investigating police team has seized all the weapons during the scene recreation.
