Police SI critical after being hit by Bolero during vehicle check

Sohela: In a tragic incident, a Police SI turned critical on Monday after being hit by a Bolero vehicle in Bargarh district of Odisha. The incident took place when the cops were carrying out vehicle check at the Lebdi chhaka in Sohela’s Dasmail area.

The victim police sub inspector has been identified as Amit Dhal.

As per reports, a Sub Inspector of Sohela Police Station turned critical after being hit by a Bolero when MV checking was going on. After hitting him, the driver fled the scene abandoning the vehicle.

Following the incident, the victim Police SI’s colleagues rushed him to hospital. He has been admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. He has sustained serious injuries on his back and thigh in the accident.
