Odisha Waives Hostel Fee of These Students: Know More

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha government announced  on Friday to not claim the hostel fee of students of Engineer Colleges, Technology, and Polytechnic institutes of the State The Skill Development & Tech Education Department of the State government issued a notification that the hostel fee of students of Engineer Colleges, Technology and Polytechnic institutes of the State will be waived for the period from April 2020 to December 2020.

The sanction for waiver of Rs 5.10 crore hostel fees would do good to as many as 17012 students staying in hostels from across the State and the decision to waive the hostel fee of the students was taken in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
