Odisha :Two Men arrested for setting fire in the forest

A father-son duo was arrested for allegedly attempting to set fire Mundeswar Reserve Forest under Madhapur Forest Range in Boudh district in Odisha on Sunday night.

According to the sources, The Forest Department officials had spotted a fire in four places of the jungle when they were on patrolling near the Mundeswar Reserve Forest. On inquiry, the officials caught men red-handed while they were attempting to escape from the spot after setting up the fire.

The accused have been identified as Asana Majhi and his son Shyamghana Majhi of Madhapur Colony Sahi.

The officials have seized a matchstick box and two sharp weapons from the accused.
