Odisha to Witness Thunderstorm & Lightning Today

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The India Meteorological Department regional centre  here has issued thunderstorm alert for as many as 13 districts across Odisha today.

As per the latest weather bulletin, thunderstorm with  lightning and light to moderate rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Sundergarh, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Jajapur and Kendrapada.

This apart, gusty surface wind with speed reaching 30-40 kmph is also likely to prevail in these places. The weather condition will prevail till 2 PM today, said the weathermen.
