Kangana Ranaut Hits Back at Baba Ramdev Over ‘Gutter Generation’ Remark

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has strongly responded to yoga guru Baba Ramdev after he criticised her controversial “gutter generation” comment about Gen Z.
Taking to Instagram, Kangana told Ramdev not to give her “character lessons” or make assumptions about her youth and personal life. She also referred to past controversies involving his brand while taking a swipe at him.
Kangana wrote that rumours and gossip should not be used to judge someone’s character. She further claimed that her character was “far better” and said there was “no fraud detected here.”

Ramdev had earlier criticised Kangana’s remarks in an interview, questioning her comments about India’s youth and saying that such statements reflected a “loss of mental balance.” He also suggested that her party should take note of the remarks.
The controversy began after Kangana referred to some young women involved in protests at Jantar Mantar as “generation gutter.” She accused them of wanting to copy the lifestyle of independent career women without understanding the responsibilities and struggles associated with it.

Earlier, Kangana had also criticised student protesters, accusing them of glorifying drugs, alcohol and casual relationships, and described some protest videos as “puke-inducing.”
