Indian Student Dies Suspiciously in Vinnytsia National Medical University, Ukraine

(Reporters Today): Vishal Kumar Choubey, a university student in Vynnista National Medical University was found dead on Saturday in university’s hostel no. 5. City police said “the death is being treated as suspicious and they are investigating the case and will soon conclude.”

Police Inspector, who was leading the investigation, said it was “devastating for the family” and the matter is equally distressful for students and caused for panic amongst the Indian students residing in the hostel premises. He further added that “they are looking for any dispute between the deceased and his friends”.

According to the source, a group of his hostel mates found the unconscious body of Mr. Choubey near the hostel garden and hurriedly checked his pulse and performed CPR as they were medical students; however, he was dead already. Emergency services were then called by students to confirm the death.

One of his friend, said Mr. Choubey is from Ranchi, India and was in Ukraine to study medical was in the process of completing his MBBS. Indian Embassy in Ukraine has been informed about the case.
