India Records 2.11 lakh Fresh COVID Cases

New Delhi: India has recorded a spike of 2.11 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and 3,847 deaths over the past 24 hours. While the daily Covid-19 cases have once slightly again gone up, the death toll has scaled below the 4,000-mark. Tamil Nadu and Kerala have recorded the maximum new Covid cases among all states.

Top five states which registered the highest Covid-19 cases on Wednesday are Tamil Nadu with 33,764 cases, followed by Kerala with 28,798 cases, Karnataka with 26,811 cases, Maharashtra with 24,752 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 18,285 cases.

Of the total 2,11,298 fresh Covid cases, 62.66% have been reported from these five states, with Tamil Nadu alone responsible for 15.98% of the fresh cases.
