Head-On Collision Between Tractor and Bike in Bhadrak Leaves Two Dead, One Critical

Bhadrak: In a tragic road accident, two persons lost their lives while another sustained critical injuries following a head-on collision between a tractor and a motorcycle near Bhandaripada under Dhamnagar police limits in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, the incident occurred when a tractor was entering the village at the same time a bike approached from the opposite direction. The two vehicles collided with great force, resulting in all three riders on the motorcycle being thrown onto the road due to the impact.

Locals rushed the injured to a nearby medical facility. However, doctors declared two of them dead on arrival. The deceased have been identified as Sheikh Arman and Sheikh Ajmer.

The third victim, Sheikh Sabir, initially received treatment at Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital before being shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition remains critical.

The accident triggered tension in the area, with locals blocking the road and halting vehicular movement for some time. Police personnel later reached the spot, brought the situation under control, and restored normalcy.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
