Gunupur MLA Trinath Gamango Resigns From BJD

Surjit Kumar Dhal,Bhubaneswar, March 18: BJD MLA from Gunupur Trinath Gamango on Monday resigned from the party.

An anguished Gamango told reporters that the party has let him down by taking out an procession of aspirants in Gunupur while he was in the Odisha capital.

Alleging that the BJD ignored him, he said that the party instead projected Raghunath Gamago as a probable candidate for 2019 elections.

The Gunupur MLA alleged that he had drawn the attention of party supremo Naveen Patnaik to his grievance which was never addressed.
