Govt to pay salaries of employees this month on Sept 26

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered to pay the salary of the government employees on September 26, ahead of the festive season.

All government employees of the state will get their salary for September month in advance for Sharadiya Durga Puja. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered to pay the salaries of the current month on September 26.

According to reports, while all government employees of the state get their salaries on the last working day of the month, all government offices of the state will be closed from September 27 for Durga Puja.

Various items are bought during the festive season like Dussehra and this year, after the GST 2.0 reform, the country is also celebrating the Bachat festival. Keeping this in mind, the Chief Minister has ordered to pay the salaries of the current month by 26th.
