Jagatsinghpur Police Seize 277 Grams of Brown Sugar

Jagatsinghpur: In a major breakthrough against the narcotics trade, Jagatsinghpur Police arrested three habitual brown sugar peddlers during a special raid near the Taladanda Canal embankment at Sandhapur under Kujanga police limits.
The raid, carried out by the Kujanga Police Station team under Operation PRAHAR, led to the recovery of 277.340 grams of brown sugar, one of the biggest seizures in recent times in the district.
Along with the contraband, police also seized three mobile phones (Samsung, OPPO, and LAVA) and ₹5,000 in cash from the accused.
Police said the arrests mark a significant strike against the illegal brown sugar trade in Jagatsinghpur district and reaffirm their commitment to intensify action under Operation PRAHAR.
