Dillip to work for Bijay in Patkura

Surjit Kumar Dhal, Bhubaneswar, April 5: Rourkela MLA and former BJP leader Dillip Ray Thursday asserted that he has no plans to join any political party at present though he may campaign for his ‘friend’ Bijay Mohapatra in Patkura.
Ray told reporters in Rourkela that he was ready to whatever is possible for Mohapatra who has been fielded in Patkura Assembly constituency by the BJP.
Both Ray and BJP had on the same day quit the BJP in November last year after expressing resentment over attitude of State party leadership.
Speaking for the first time in about a fortnight, Dillip said he has not thought about joining any political party though speculation was rife that he was inclined towards the ruling BJD.
A section of media had reported that BJD’s Pranab Prakash Das had accompanied Ray to Naveen Niwas where Ray had a one to one meeting with BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Ray has neither confirmed the report nor denied it.
