New Delhi: In a major move, the Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced the ‘Atal Canteen’ scheme in Delhi, in which meals at just Rs. 5 will be provided to slum dealers. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced the ‘Atal Canteen’ in Delhi that will offer food for Rs 5 to workers.

- To address this issue the BJP party will open the Atal Canteen across Delhi in JJ (Jhuggi-Jhopri) Clusters, offering meals to slum residents at Rs 5.
- The scheme is likely to be known by other names such as “Atal Canteen Yojana” or “Mukhyamantri Atal Canteen Scheme”.
- The scheme will be implemented across all slums in Delhi, enabling the beneficiary to receive their meals in their respective area.
- There are around 750 big and small slums in Delhi that will be covered under this scheme.
