Congress MP gives adjournment motion notice in LS on alleged ED misuse

New Delhi, July 21(Reporters Today Bureau): A Congress MP on Thursday gave a notice of adjournment in the Lok Sabha seeking a discussion on the alleged misuse of the Enforcement Directorate by the Union Government.
Manickam Tagore has alleged the Centre is targeting innocent opposition leaders.
The notice by Tagore comes on a day when Congress chief Sonia Gandhi is to appear before the Enforcement Directorate in connection with alleged money laundering in the National Herald newspaper case.
In his notice, Tagore sought a discussion on the alleged misuse of the ED and “list of scams” of the BJP government pending with the Enforcement Department.
