Class XII Student Killed, Three Injured in Ganjam Road Mishap

Bhubaneswar: A Class XII student was killed and three others sustained serious injuries in a road accident at B. Kainchapur village under Rambha police station limits in Ganjam district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as G. Shubham Reddy, a student of Saheed Bhagat Singh College, Khandadeuli, under Purusottampur police station jurisdiction.

According to reports, four students, including Reddy, were travelling towards Purusottampur on two motorcycles when they collided head-on with a car approaching from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision proved fatal for Reddy, who died on the spot, while the other three students suffered serious injuries.

The injured were immediately rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, where they are undergoing treatment.

On receiving information, Rambha police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident. The damaged vehicles were seized, and further details are awaited as the probe continues.
