CESU to reward for reporting electricity theft in Odisha

Surjit Kumar Dhal, Bhubaneswar, Sept 5: the Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha (CESU) has decided to reward people for reporting electricity theft cases.

CESU CEO Arun Bothra said that ten per cent of the penalty amount will be given to the informer of the case. The identities of the informers will be concealed.

The CESU chief further said that women SHG members will be allowed to collect electricity bills soon and complaints on social media platforms will be taken up promptly
