Cannabis worth Nearly Rs. 1 Crore  Seized, 3 Held

Rayagada (Reporters Today Bureau): The police on Saturday arrested three peddlers and seized nearly 11.8 quintal cannabis worth Rs 1 crore in this connection in Rayagada district, officials said

Acting on a tip-off, smugglers were preparing to transport the banned contraband to Muniguda in the district, a team of Chandrapur police intercepted and seized 11.8 quintals (1180 kg) ganja in 59 packets at Rabiguda Chhak.

All the three accused were in detention and have been booked.
