BRICS Finance Meet Begins in Mumbai

The final meeting of the BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors is being held in Mumbai on September 9-10, ahead of the BRICS Leaders’ Summit.
The 2026 BRICS Finance Track is focused on the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”

Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors had earlier met in Jaipur last month. Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reviewed the key outcomes of the Finance Track ahead of the final Mumbai meeting.
