Balibamana Besha Today in Srimandir

Puri: Balibamana Besha today in Puri Srimandira. Lord Jagannath will appear as a child in this besha in his temple in Puri of Odisha. It is to be noted that yesterday the deities’ Bamana Janma niti had been executed. Today, in this besha, Mahaprabhu will appear in the form of a dwarf in the Ratna Singhasana.

Today, Mahaprabhu will appear on the Ratna Sanshana in the form of a dwarf boy. While Sri Balabhadra will be dressed in the royal attire, Devi Subhadra will be dressed in ordinary attire.

After the Dwipahar Dhupa performed in the temple, Sri Jagannath Mahaprabhu will be adorned in the Vaman attire. This attire will remain until the Badasinghar Puja. Gold ornaments will be adorned on Mahaprabhu.

In his fifth incarnation, Mahaprabhu Lord Vishnu took the form of a dwarf boy and crushed Bali Maharaj to the bottom of the abyss. Therefore, carrying that memory, Mahaprabhu’s Balibamana attire is being held in the temple for hundreds of years.
