COVID-19: Number of active cases fall in Assam

GUWAHATI: Assam witnessed a decline in COVID-19 cases with five more people recovering from the infection in the last 24 hours, according to official data released on Monday.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare website, there are 41 active cases in Assam, down by four since Sunday’s figure.

Since January this year, Assam has seen 50 people recovering from COVID-19, including five in the last 24 hours, it added.
