Longest Bridge in Odisha Inaugurated

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the state’s longest high-level bridge over Mahanadi river at Gopinathpur in Cuttack district.
The 3.4 km-long bridge connecting Singhanath Pitha and Baideswar in Cuttack district has been constructed with an investment of Rs 111 crore. It will reduce distance by 45 km immensely benefitting around five lakh people.
Earlier on February 28, 2014, the CM had laid foundation stone for the bridge that has been built in English alphabet ‘T’ shape.
