Veteran Dramatist Panchanan Mishra Passes Away

Sambalpur (Reporters Today Bureau): Veteran Sambalpuri dramatist Dr. Panchanan Mishra passed away due to Coronavirus here in the district.

The 71-year-old Kosali dramatist breathed his last at around 2.00 AM on Thursday at a COVID Hospital in Burla after battling for life for past 22 days.

Born in Sonepur district in the year 1950, Dr. Panchanan Mishra was also a theatre actor, theatre director, critic and folk theatre researcher. He was a faculty of the Department of Drama at Sambalpur University.
