Mercury Rises in Odisha; Sonepur Hottest

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): Seven places of Odisha today recorded temperature above 40 degrees. Out of these Sonepur city of Subarnapur district was the hottest area with the maximum temperature at 40.8 degrees.

Sonepur was followed by Balangir at 40.5 degrees. Titilagarh and Malkangiri recorded at 40.2 degrees each. Angul and Talcher were at 40.1 degrees while Boudh recorded day temperature at 40 degrees.
