Youth arrested in Cuttack for sodomising 6-year-old boy

Surjit Kumar Dhal, Cuttack, Sept 5: Madhupatna police on Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old youth for allegedly sodomising a 6-year-old boy. The arrested accused is Chintamani Naik alias Pintu of Swargadham in Jagannath Colony, a neighbourer of the victim. DCP Akhiesvar Singh said, on Monday the victim was playing near his house at about 5 PM when the accused reached there. He then lured the minor by giving him a ‘Kurkuri’ pocket and took him to the premises of the nearby school and committed the crime.

               After hearing details about the incident from the child, his father filed an FIR on Tuesday following which the accused was arrested, the DCP informed.
