IGP Central Range Reviews Flood Situation in Jajpur, Visits Affected Villages

Jajpur: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Central Range, Dr. Satyajit Naik, on Saturday visited the flood-affected villages of Indaroi, Erbanka, and Bankasahi under Erbanka Gram Panchayat in Jajpur Block to assess the ground situation and oversee the ongoing relief and rescue operations.
During his visit, Dr. Naik reviewed the prevailing flood conditions and inspected the safety and security arrangements put in place for the affected residents. He also interacted with local officials and personnel engaged in relief efforts, taking stock of the measures being implemented to ensure the well-being of people impacted by the floods.

The IGP directed officials to remain on high alert and ensure seamless coordination among all departments involved in rescue, relief, and law-and-order management. He stressed the importance of providing timely assistance to affected families and maintaining adequate security in vulnerable areas.
The visit reflects the administration’s continued focus on monitoring the flood situation closely and ensuring that relief and rescue operations are carried out efficiently across the affected regions of Jajpur district.
