Mohan Majhi’s Public Grievance Hearing on July 13 Suspended

The Odisha government has postponed Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s scheduled public grievance hearing that was to be held on Monday, July 13, citing the Chief Minister’s prior official commitments.
In a notification issued from Bhubaneswar, the General Administration and Public Grievance Department announced that the weekly grievance hearing would not take place as planned because of the Chief Minister’s other important engagements on the day.
The department said the suspension is temporary and clarified that the public grievance programme will resume once a revised schedule is finalised.
Officials added that details of the next hearing date will be shared with the public through newspapers and other media platforms, ensuring that citizens are informed well in advance of the rescheduled programme.
The Odisha government reiterated that the temporary postponement does not signal any change in the public grievance redressal process, and the hearing mechanism will continue according to the updated schedule once the new date is announced.
