Puri administration launches QR code for seamless Rath Yatra services

Puri: Puri district administration has issued a special QR code that provides all the digital services in a package to pilgrims and other visitors in view of the ensuing Rath Yatra this year.

Scanning the QR code will help devotees get the complete day-wise details about Rath Yatra.

It includes events, route maps and the nearest drinking water, ATMs, petrol pumps, railway stations and hospital besides the address of emergency medical units.

Details of parking places, public toilets and nearest Police Assistance Posts will also be made available to those visiting Puri for the holy occasion.

A separate portal can also help to file a complaint or search a missing child and article,besides,emergency helpline numbers are available for any need.

Bus stands, shuttle and other travel information will also be added. The initiative is aimed to help in the better crowd management and public safety.
