Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings begins

Puri: The much-awaited sacred Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra began with the Mangalarpan rituals.

As per the scheduled released by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the Mangalarpan is being performed since 4.30 AM. This will be followed by the Doralagi, Pushpanjali and Pahandi rituals to be held between 5 AM and 7AM.

• Fire Services Personnel Spray Water on Devotees to Beat the Heat on Snana Yatra. 
• Lord Jagannath and his siblings took bath in the sacred water brought from Suna Kua in Snana Mandap.
• Devotees flock to the Snana Mandap for a glimpse of the Holy deities.
• CM Mohan Majhi took blessings of the holy trinities on the occasion of Snana Purnima at the Snana Mandap. Prayed to Mahaprabhu for the progress and development of Odisha, CM Majhi said.
• Mangal Aarti of the holy deities on Snana Mandap concludes
• Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath & Devi Subhadra placed on Snana Mandap for the grand bathing rituals on the occasion of Snana Purnima.

• On the occasion of Snana Purnima sea of devotees throng Puri to witness the ‘Snana Yatra’ of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra.
