Two trains face each other on same track near Jharpada bridge

Bhubaneswar: A major train accident was averted in Bhubaneswar after two trains face each other on the same track near the Jharpada bridge.

The situation created panic as the two trains reportedly found themselves on a collision course. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident.

On being informed about the incident, the senior railway officials and technical teams rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation.

Meanwhile, the Railway authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to ascertain how the two trains ended up on the same track. Officials are examining whether any signalling failure or operational error behind the incident.
