Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Receives Grand Welcome in Kolkata Ahead of West Bengal Elections

Kolkata: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi received a grand welcome from party leaders and workers upon his arrival at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, amid the ongoing political buzz surrounding the West Bengal elections.
According to a social media post shared by Himanshu Shekhar Sahoo, the reception was marked by enthusiastic participation from party members, who greeted the Chief Minister with floral garlands and traditional gestures of respect. The post described the moment as “memorable,” highlighting Majhi’s leadership and presence during a crucial political period.

Supporters gathered in large numbers at the airport premises, raising slogans and extending a warm felicitation as the Odisha Chief Minister acknowledged the crowd with folded hands. The visit is being seen as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s broader engagement in the state ahead of the elections.
Several senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and party president J. P. Nadda, have been actively involved in campaign efforts across West Bengal. Other prominent leaders such as Dharmendra Pradhan have also been engaging with party workers in the region.

The Chief Minister’s visit is expected to boost party morale and strengthen organizational presence as political activities intensify in the state.
