Jajpur Police Conduct Intensive Vehicle Checks Under ‘Operation Jeevan Raksha’

Jajpur: As part of the ongoing road safety drive “Operation Jeevan Raksha,” Jajpur Police carried out intensive checking across the district on Thursday night. During the operation, police personnel verified 304 vehicles and realised fines amounting to ₹40,500 for various traffic violations.

In addition to enforcement, the police also focused on creating awareness among road users. Traffic awareness programmes were organised at Dharmasala and Dasarathpur, where riders and drivers were educated on the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, adhering to traffic rules, and remaining alert while driving.
Jajpur Police stated that the initiative aims to reduce road accidents and promote disciplined driving behaviour. The district police reaffirmed their commitment to sustained enforcement and continuous public awareness to ensure safer roads for all.
