+2 Admission: 1st Cut-Off Merit List Released

Bhubaneswar: The first selection cut-off list for Plus Two admission in Odisha has been released today.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, has successfully completed the Phase-I, 1st Selection process for +2 e-Admission for the Academic Year 2025-26.
A total of 4,46,205 students had applied during this phase, out of which 4,13,804 students have been selected for admission, marking a selection rate of approximately 92.75% in the first phase.
Stream-wise selection figures are as follows:
- a) Arts: 2,64,766 students
- b) Commerce: 20,552 students
- c) Science: 1,17,089 students
- d) Upashastri: 6,811 students
- e) Vocational: 4,586 students
Gender-wise selection data:
- a) Male: 1,96,268
- b) Female: 2,17,529
- c) Others: 07
Students allotted their First Choice: 2,87,219 students have been allotted seats in their first preference Higher Secondary School.
Students not selected in this round: 32,401 students remain unselected in Phase-I e-Admission process.
The Directorate extends best wishes to all students selected in this round and looks forward to a smooth admission process ahead. Students who have not been selected in Phase-I (1st Selection) will get another opportunity to participate in the 2nd Selection as well as in the Online SPOT Selection process accordingly.
Furthermore, the +2 (Class-XI) Classes will commence from 24th July, 2025 across all Higher Secondary Schools of the State.
