179 New Corona Cases Detected in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A total 179 new Coronavirus positives have been detected in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the total count mounted to 4856 in Odisha.

While 150 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, 29 are local contacts. Ganjam district reported highest 57 cases followed by Khordha and Keonjhar with 27 and 18 cases, respectively.

Of the total fresh cases, 161 have been reported from 15 districts: Khordha (27), Angul (6), Nabarangpur (1), Jagatsinghpur (4), Cuttack (15), Bargarh (2), Bhadrak (5), Jajpur (3), Malkangiri (2), Rayagada (5) Keonjhar (18) Deogarh (1), Ganjam (57), Kendrapada (5) and Mayurbhanj (10). Besides, 10 cases are personnel of NDRF and Odisha Fire Services, who were under quarantine after returning from West Bengal.
