Youth Stabbed Over Ludo Game in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a bizarre happening a youth was stabbed in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha on Wednesday over Ludo game. The incident took place near Chili Pokhari under Badagada Police limits. The youth got critically injured following the knife attack.

The injured has been identified as Shankar Dakua.

According to reports, an argument broke out over playing Ludo game at a certain place today. The verbal spat escalated into a scuffle, following which the accused allegedly stabbed Shankar. Accordingly, he sustained deep injuries on his nose. Following the incident, he was rushed to Capital Hospital in a serious condition.

Multiple numbers of minors are suspectedly involved in the incident.

After getting information about the incident Badagada Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation. One person has been detained for questioning while a hunt is on for other accused. Multiple numbers of minors are suspected involved in the incident.

On the other hand the local residents have alleged that Chili Pokhari area turns into a hotspot for anti-social elements and drug users after evening. They have urged police to increase patrolling in the area to prevent such incidents.
